Hi, my name is Sameer, also known as SLYR.
 
​I’m a luxury wedding and destination event DJ specializing in creating immersive, high-end musical experiences for couples and clients around the world. For over 11 years, I’ve had the honour of performing at thousands of events, and along the way I’ve earned the nickname “Mr. Versatile” for my ability to blend Punjabi/Bhangra, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Afro-House, EDM, and refined lounge sounds into seamless, unforgettable sets.​
 
For me, music is never just background noise — it’s the heartbeat of the celebration. Even during cocktail hour, I don’t simply press play. I perform live, vibe-driven sets that evolve with the room, the guests, and the emotion of the moment. Every event is unique, and I curate the music to reflect that — creating an atmosphere that feels elegant, intentional, and deeply personal.​
 
People often say that SLYR has the “Midas touch” — every track I touch transforms into a timeless, golden experience on the dancefloor. Whether I’m re-imagining a classic or crafting a fresh fusion of genres, I’m driven by the art of turning music into atmosphere, emotion, and connection.
 
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of performing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including the late legend Sidhu Moosewala (first-ever live performance), Manpreet Toor, Amrit Maan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sultan, Bhalwaan, Signature By SB, Bhinda Aujla, and Heera Group.​
 
Whether it’s an intimate luxury wedding or a grand international celebration, my mission is simple: to create powerful musical memories that you and your guests will cherish for a lifetime.

This review has been a long time coming. If I could possibly give a higher rating than 5 stars, Sameer would definitely be at the top of my list. My Fiancé and I hosted a small Rokha ceremony this July and without getting into too much detail, I can single-handedly say the venue hall disappointed us in levels we didn't think were achievable. Dealing with a hall with no AC during a Canadian heat wave, liquor shortages, and delays on our food - I can confidently say that Sameer SAVED our night. While our night was falling apart, Sameer calmly handled a situation unlike any other. He kept our guests happy, was approachable throughout the night, and played music he knew the crowd was enjoying. Half way through the event, we needed to move our entire set up outdoors to get away from the heat - which Sameer did without hesitation. His understanding meant the world to us as we dealt with a situation beyond our control. He was professional, kind, played the best music and truly won over our guest's hearts. To our all time favourite DJ - you were the biggest HIT! We are beyond thankful that you were part of our night. Thank you for being so wonderful and accommodating. Ishan and I are so grateful.
